NYU is probably like the only school that is like that. And even then if I have more experience than a NYU student, people would choose me over them.
Also by and large you don't need a degree to be successful in theater. You however need a bachelors degree to have a job that doesn't suck. I mostly have a bachelors so that if theater doesn't work out, I can either ;
A: Go to law school
B: become a substitute teacher.
C: get certified and become a full time teacher.
It does not matter what you majo where you went when you are undergrad. You can always do something else.
